off I go....

Today is my day to head out to Long Beach, California for our Close To My Heart Leadership Conference. Excitement would be an understatement to describe me...thrilled, overjoyed, elated- those might come close! :) I am so ready for a great time away with friends and all that I love....what more could a Diva ask?!? hee-hee....

I cannot wait to come back and let you know how spoiled rotten we were and all that I have learned...simply the best!

Have a fabulous rest of your week and I will be in touch next week!

for my roomie....

I always like to make "happys" (as my dear friend Tina Sutton calls them!) for my Roommate. So while I was playing on Sunday I whipped a few things to give my friend and roomie- Cherie Lynn! I cannot wait to see her and have a blast together! We have so much fun together....even Josh has said watch out it is TROUBLE! :)

I LOVE making these simply notebook holders. To make this one I cut a Black piece of Textured CS 10 3/4 x 8 1/4. I then score the piece at 5 1/4 and then again at 5 1/2 to make the spine. Simply use glue dots to affix your memo pad. I also cut a 1x5 of pattern paper to cover up the logo on the memo pad! :) Embellish the front as you like! Fast, Simple and Elegant!

CTMH products used: Black Textured CS, Silhouette Creative Basics, Baroque Alphabet E1006, sorbet Exclusive Ink Pad, Versamark, Clear embossing powder, heat set and then tied with a sorbet ribbon!

counting the days....

By now you KNOW I am giddy about leaving for Leadership!!!! I just love CTMH events! They SPOIL us rotten with artwork classes, give-aways, learning fabulous techniques, amazing meals, friendships made that are priceless...oh it goes on and on! and we get to see the new Fall Idea Book- YIPPEEE!!!!!
I remember when I went to Leadership 2007 that was my full circle moment with CTMH and the point I decided this could be more than a hobby for myself- my business mind kicked in full force and by the time I got home I was a force to be reckoned with and then they announced the Mediterranean Cruise and I KNEW I would be on the boat. It has been awhile since I accomplished something on my own and the power that gave me and continues to fill me with is simply AMAZING! I remember being in Italy standing on the Spanish Steps looking at the amazing scenery and pinching Josh saying, "Paper and Stamps Baby, Paper and Stamps!" He smiled at me and it is something with pride he can tell others- "My wife took me on all expense paid cruise to the Med." The bonus for us- we celebrated our 10 year anniversary in August of '08 so the trip in Oct '08 was our anniversary trip and what a trip of a lifetime! It was also a great way for us to reconnect with one another and soak in all that we had gone through the past year- Josh's deployment, the move to DC and Patrick's rough Kindergarten start. It was a much needed trip and I am so grateful to be apart of a great company that helps you achieve your goals and more!

I am looking forward to seeing all my CTMH friends and meeting new ones! Plus being inspired, recharged and ready to share my love of creating! If you love paper crafts as much as I do...I would love to have you on my team. We have a great time sharing our passions with each other and I would love to help you create that Diva in you and I can assist you near or far! Feel free to email me at craftingdivas@cox.net or visit my website to learn more about our FABULOUS Opportunity!

Josh and I at the Spanish Steps in Italy....
The Colisseum- wonderous to see...I was a History/Political Science Major so I was a kid in the candy store...my books came ALIVE!!! :)

Christine, Cherie Lynn and myself soaking in the French Riveria...cannot wait to see my girls soon!

these cards are a Hoot!

So have to ask you a question...Do you own our "Wishes" Book??? If you do not you have to get it, it simply rocks! The card designs, the artwork and the great workshops- makes my life so easier! Today I used the Just Because Workshop- it makes 20 cards and it was so easy to put together! I had fun using this workshop with our Boom-Di-Ada papers and the You're a Hoot stamp Set as well our Thank You stamp set. I made these cards to give as a Thank you gift to my in-laws! I have been madly creating gifts from the heart today and you get to see first!

I just love these owls they are so cute and FULL of personality! Here is the best part since the workshop makes 2 of each design then I can keep a set of 10 for myself and give the other set to Grandma and Grandpa Bohnart!!! YIPPEE...a win- win. :)

I am so thankful that they are coming this week to help watch the kiddos so I can sneak off to our Leadership Conference in California! I missed Convention last year because we were moving and I without my in-laws coming to watch my kids I would not be able to sneak away because Josh is SUPER DUPER busy! I am grateful for the help and inside I screaming for joy for Wednesday to hurry up and get here!

All Products Used are CTMH: our basic cards and envelopes, C1362 You're a Hoot, D1361 Thank You, Boom-Di-Ada Level 2 Paper Kit, exclusive ink pads and markers: hollyhock, garden green, barn red and buttercup. click on the photo to see it larger if you like and feel free to shop 24-7 at my website.

thanks for the thanks!

Wow! Seems like July has been on full speed for the Bohnart family!!!! We got home from our great trip to Chapel Hill, North Carolina on Thursday afternoon just in time to unpack, rest for an hour, then eat dinner and take Ireland to Ballet class. whew! what a week!

I have been busy of course doing laundry and putting all sorts of stuff away. I am also on a major cleaning spree because my in-laws are headed into town on Tuesday the 28th to stay with us for a week. The kids, Josh, and myself are so excited but I of course need things to be looking a lot better than they did when I walked through the door on Thursday! :) We did swimming lessons today and then I spent the rest of the day CLEANING! ugh...no fun....but then my hubby brought the mail in and I had a card for me!!! and guess what it was a handmade one too from my sweet downline Christine!!!! At our team meeting she shared her darling cards she worked so hard on using the Animal Cookies Creative Basics and I just LOVED LOVED LOVED them and secretly wished for one! Guess what I got one TODAY!!!! Thank you Christine for the card and your note- so appreciated!!!!

Don't you just love her card! well sadly back to cleaning, making lists and hopefully I will get to play tomorrow- I need to make Happy's for my trip to Leadership next week! And I know I promised directions on that True Fit Folio mini album...I promise to post them before I leave!

Happy Birthday Ireland!!!!!

Oh my beautiful girl is 9 today!!!! We had a fun birthday dinner out last night and enjoyed ourselves maybe a little too much- we were pretty silly! Maybe the camera brought out the sillies in us too and it was fun to capture. Patrick is KING of silly faces these days but if you take a look at the pictures I think he has learned a thing or two from his silly Daddy!!!! :)

The kids and I are headed to visit my sister in Chapel Hill, NC for a few days. We are super excited and Ireland has announced she wants to do this every year for her birthday while we are living in Virginia!!! SO FUN! I love that we are not too far to visit with her- she is a great sister and better Auntie as my kiddos would say!

Hope you guys have a great week...inside I am starting to get super excited to leave on the 29th for CTMH Leadership Conference...woo-hoo!!!! Cannot wait to see my dear friends and meet new ones too- I just love my CTMH sisters!! okay more on that later for sure!

Until then enjoy the Super, Crazy, Silly Bohnart Family- we sure know how to live it up in public!

Amigos...

I am on a roll lately creating personal scrapbook pages and trying to finish up our Disney Dec'06 Trip. It feels so good to be creating things for myself. I know that must sound strange to some of you but it is true. Finding time to work on personal projects seems to be hard. The kiddos take up a good deal of time, keeping up with my amazing hubby, creating fun projects for my customers, working with my AMAZING team and the list seems to go on but somehow along the way I have pushed my personal projects to the bottom of the list. But I decided about a month ago to try and start creating at least a few things a month for me and my big love is SCRAPBOOKING...making pages is where my heart is! I love it and that is what brought me to CTMH because they help me create pages that look like a ROCKSTAR!!!! If I can do it...you can too!!!

I hope you enjoy this layout. I have to admit I think it is one of my top five favorites so far out of my Disney album!!!!! Don't you just love when you create something that gives you goosebumps! I sure do and I love sharing!!

Products used: X7095B CTMH Boom-Di-Ada Level 2 Paper Pack and X7095CMyStickease, 9029 Cherish (have I told you I LOVE our How to Programs??!??), z1102 Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon, D1280 Spot on Backgrounds (used this to create the "kissing" technique on the stamped/cut out letters, and E size alphabet was a special stamp set from a year or so ago...I don't remember what it was called- sorry about that!

in my Creation Station...

I have been working in my Creation Station today! Woo-Hoo and here is the best part...it is for ME!!! :) As I mentioned the other day I like to scrapbook chronological in my Family albums. I have a Family Album for each year. While working on my familiy albums it occurred to me I could create an album dedicated to all our Disney trips- living in Florida for 4 years we went there quite a bit!!! :) So today I made 2 layouts for our Disney album and I just love them! The Expedition Paper Pack works great for Animal Kingdom memories! I used the Imagine book for the layouts- love our how to programs! I had fun embellishing with the Autumn Terracota Ribbon Collection (retired), the pivot point stapler, and dimensional alphabet- love to sponge these with COLOR!!! Hope you enjoy these fun pages!!! Want to view them larger? Just simply click on the image.

visit me online to shop, view more of my artwork and watch the great Art and Soul TV episodes- full of creative ideas!!!!

Creatively Yours!

oh the Memories...

I have been settling back into our crazy summer routine which seems to be sleeping in and playing hard together. While I have not had too much time to scrap or create lately, I did make time this weekend to upload a years worth of photos to Winkflash!!! Oh yeah, I love a sale! If you have over 100 photos to order you pay just 4 cents per photo! ROCK ON! Check it out...www.winkflash.com

I uploaded all the photos from 2007 that I have not scrapbooked. Yes I am behind and seriously who is not?!? I enjoy taking my time and creating pages that mean a lot to me and hopefully to my children in the future. There are different types of scrapbookers and I am a chronological scrapper...makes sense to me. I have during my time with CTMH scrapped current photos or pictures I have on hand from events so I do have a bunch of random pages in a demo album. I went looking in that album today to see if I had layouts from 2007 and I found a bunch. I picked two of my favorites to share with you and hope you enjoy them. It is so fun to look at how much my kiddos are changing. I just cannot wait to get that HUGE order in and start creating!!!!

*all products are Close To My Heart. Patrick's layout is made from the Serendipity Collection and Ireland's was made using Life's Delight. Embellishments used- Dimensional Alphabet letters, Life Delight's My Stickease, Prisma Glitter, Chocolate Eyelets, and a True Fit folio cut in half. I will be teaching my Scrap n Play class this week how to make a mini album out of one! So fun...stay tuned for directions. You can click on the photos too to see the larger if you like. :)

Highlights of our Trip...

We are back from Appleton, Wisconsin! We all had a blast! It was great spending the 4th with family and the kids had a blast with their cousins. We are thankful we could sneak away and see the Wisconsin crew- it is hard for us to get away moving all the time and my hubby's crazy job but we are thankful when it all works out. :)

I thought I would share some picture highlights of our time in Wisconsin, boy did those 4 days just fly bye! I think the biggest highlight for everyone was going to Green Bay and having a tour of Lambeau Field- pure MAGIC! My favorite part was being in the tunnel where the players run out to the field from. They had music playing in there and slowly opened the door just like they would for the Packers. What an amazing feeling to walk out and cross the brick steps that so many legends have touched and will touch- HUGE THRILL FOR ALL!
Looking forward to scrapbooking this trip! Hope you all had a great 4th!

The Bohnart family is pumped for our big adventure today....we are off to Wisconsin!!! My husband is from the Appleton, WI area and all his immediate family still lives in the area. Our kids are THRILLED to go see their cousins!!! It will be a great 4th of July weekend for sure...bring on the brats, cheese and cold beer- not sure what else Wisconsin is known for....oh yeah the Packers! We will be headed to Lambeau Field on Monday for sure!!!! Yes I have been turned into a Cheese Head after almost 11 years of marriage!
I am sure I will have fun pictures and stories to tell when we get back. Hope you all have a blessed 4th of July with your loved ones. Take time to remember what makes this country so amazing!!!!!!!
