Fluttering when it is Icy...

It is a snow day here in Virgina or should I say an Ice Day.  We had freezing rain last night which caused a big slippery mess this morning so the children had off from school and so did I- YIPPEEE!  What to do...what to do?

Create of course!

and here is what I Created today....

I had some serious fun with Close To My Heart's new Spray Pen- I wanted to spray everything!  Adds a fun dimension to your artwork and it is so easy.  I also played with the new Wing Papers and January Stamp of the Month...I am actually ready for our Scrap n Play Club date this Friday!  YEAH ME!

I shared my cards on my facebook page today when I was done and a dear friend of mine that I have know for 10+ years commented that I should post them on the Flutter by Wednesday page.  Really?!?  Wow- that is high praise coming from my friend Siobhan!(gotta check out her serious crafty skills too) and so here it goes my first attempt at posting my artwork to another blog.  Wish me luck....

Peek a Boo!

I see you!  :-)  Okay so I could bore you to death why another month has gone bye and I have not blogged but I will spare you the details and just sum up by saying
BUSY!!!!(craziness!).  :-)

On Friday(the 12th) we had our monthly Scrap n Play session- we had so much fun!  I love sharing and playing with the girls!  I think we all laughed so hard- it was a fun night full with lots of belly laughs!  I think the one thing we all agree with is somehow we all have no control over lots of things in our lives but we love making time for creating and sharing our love of preserving memories- it makes us HAPPY, Happy, HAPPY!!!!!

Today one of my club members came over and we had a fun afternoon of scrapping and chatting.  And bonus our dear friend Kara, who lives in Spain now :( ,  Skyped with us and it was just like old times- love my friends!!!!   
It was so fun to catch up with her- she is one BUSY lady and here I thought I was busy- I have got nothing compared to that crazy Dinamo!(yep that is cute Kara on the right)

So getting on to the cute cards I made today( yep I sure think they are cute and hope you do too!).... I made 8 of these cuties...

I used the Hooligans Level Two Paper Pack,  our 4 1/2" Circle Cards(love them), the Wishes book(has fabulous design ideas plus Circle cards!!!!  YIPPPEEEE), Glitz Glue(easey peasy application), B1312 Make a Wish Stamp Set, C1257 Happy Birthday Stamp Set.


I am looking forward to Thursday night when I get together with some ladies to swap!  I am so excited to meet these new crafty girls!  A friend of mine invited me to join them and how could I resist???
